- Double-weighted statement
- This is a research monograph and a “longer-form output”. It includes 259 pages, and approx. 140K words. The research project took five years to complete. It brings together a range of different materials drawn from archives across the world including Australia, Belgium, Canada and France, as well as multiple archival sources in the UK. The study then covered the main subject matter on multiple levels integrating methods from film studies to create a work of historical enquiry into the way the First World War was interpreted and understood in its immediate aftermath.
