- Double-weighted statement
- This book was researched and written over a period of six years. It is based on over 100 elite interviews with US generals, politicians, and senior policy-advisors, as well as thousands of declassified documents and diplomatic cables from over a dozen archives, augmented by comprehensive use of secondary sources. The author weaves together this huge volume of source material in constructing a comprehensive account of successive US post-Cold War military interventions.
