- This work was the result of a collaboration among Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Catania (Italy) and the IRCCS Oasi (Italy). The latter is an internationally renowned research and care institute that specialises in developmental and life span biomedical innovation. We co-designed novel robotic services and investigated their acceptance by professionals in the support the therapy of children with developmental disabilities. The findings of this study led the SHU to win EU support for the H2020 MSCA-IF CARER-AID project (€183k, grant n.703489).
