- This paper develops a new model to estimate the two-dimensional flow direction in meandering compound open channel and is published in a leading journal for the discipline. The study has great application and impact on river flow environment and flooding prediction. The work is funded by China National Natural Science Foundation and led to further collaboration between Bradford and Universities of Sichuan and Wuhan.
