- This paper describes the first application of a cavity enhanced technique to greatly increase the sensitivity of measurement of a stopped-flow apparatus, a commonly used platform to the measure the kinetics of fast liquid-phase reactions. The paper follows on from a granted US patent (US 8,325,342 B2, 2008) and the instrumentation is being further developed by a Teesside University spinout company Anasyst Ltd (www.anasyst.com).
