- Additional information
- The output arises from an EPSRC cooperative project with the Department of Chemistry, Aberdeen University, in exposed aggregate mounted nano-TiO2 photocatalyst. The relationship between exposed area for photocatalytic reaction and photocatalytic efficiency that was established is important for cost/benefit of practical systems for highways. Following publications, the group are working with Mott McDonald to determine ‘next steps’ on behalf of Highways England. Contact: Senior Pavement Engineer, Mott MacDonald.
