- This work has impacted the current state of the art technologies used to protect the privacy of sensitive data. Pre-exisiting work relied on computationally insensitive homomorphic encryption which is not scalable, however this paper uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to scale the searching functionality to the encrypted data in the cloud.
