- This paper presents the first competitive model of data providers’ incentives-based personal data trading with privacy valuation and its proof with results for validation. As results of a GDPR-compliant personally identifiable information management project (2018-0-00261, Korean government) and a trust data connectome project (19ZH1200, ETRI, Korea), the core concepts for data management in a trustworthy personal data ecosystem in this work have been adopted in the international standardisation body ITU-T’s Recommendation (Y.3055), published as an international standard in 2020. This work also facilitated the development of ITU-T Technical Specification D5 (https://www.itu.int/pub/T-FG-DPM-2019-5) (Bilel Jamoussi, Chief, Study Groups Department, ITU-T, bilel.jamoussi@itu.int).
