- English abstract
- This is a contribution to the Ueberweg Outline of the History of Philosophy, a multi-volume series whose aim is to be a state of the art reference in the discipline. I discuss the main textual sources and key figures of the early Imperial Peripatos, from Andronicus of Rhodes to Alexander of Aphrodisias. This tradition is relatively little studied, but there is now growing interest in its ideas and approaches. This work can be useful for ancient philosophy, especially Aristotle, scholars.
