- This paper presents an integrated framework for multi-objective strategic asset management of large power transformer fleets, developed with the largest power distribution utility in South America, CEMIG-D/Brazil. CEMIG has more than 18 million customers and the proposed framework was designed to be integrated across the company's entire maintenance and strategic planning processes. Besides this direct application, this work was also the main motivator of a follow-up project on multi-objective reduction of power downtime, led by one of the authors (Dr. Eduardo Carrano) and funded by Brazilian research agency FAPEMIG.
