- We present a novel simultaneous state/fault estimation and fault-tolerant control method for discrete-time dynamic systems with real-data validation in vehicle lateral dynamics. The results contributed to a successful bid for an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship ( GRO/1117303 STP). Publication led to a plenary talk at the 1st Academic and Creative Conference in Control Science and Engineering at Bohai University (8-9, September 2018) and research collaboration with the University of Hong Kong and Bohai University leading to joint publications in the leading journals: Automatica (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.automatica.2018.12.031) and IEEE Transactions in Industrial Electronics (10.1109/TIE.2017.2677327 ,10.1109/TIE.2015.2497201).
