- This article proposes a dedicated measure for the problem of sequence comparison and fusion. The algorithm calculating the proposed measure is available as part of the CRAN toolbox (https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/seriation/seriation.pdf). This work has led to several follow up papers by Goulermas, including "Continuation methods for approximate large scale object sequencing" (Mach. Learn. J 2019) and "Circular object arrangement using spherical embeddings" (Pattern Recognition 2020), which heavily use the introduced measure. Neither of the two articles are REF returned.
