- The multi-layered security proposed here has been adopted and improved by researchers including Aljawarneh et al. (2016, FGCS, 60, 67-77), Li et al. (2017, FGCS, 74, 76-85), Yassein & Aljawarneh (2017, JNCA, 89, 38-47), Crossler et al. (2017, ISF, 1-15) and Memos et al. (2018, FGCS, 83, 619-628). Other case studies proving its effectiveness include: 1) IoT: JNCA(2017), 89, 3-13; JNCA(2017), 78, 1005-1019; INS(2019), 479, 567-592; and 2) Data centres: FGCS(2018), 73, 79-89. It won a Special Award for Best Project in Research in 2016 (https://www.kuppingercole.com/20160512_pm_eicawards2016_en).
