- This research output is comprised of 13 curated exhibitions by Carr and 19 published texts. Both curated exhibitions and published texts, examine and highlight a single artist’s work. The exhibitions were presented in 3 venues worldwide, including those in Los Angeles and Llandudno, and published by 13 publishers, including Rennie Collection Vancouver, Mousse Magazine Milan, CURA. Rome, and Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Bergamo and STPI, Singapore. The research output and its parts both examine contemporary visual arts and traces its outcomes, particularly from a single artists’ perspective. The texts and curated exhibitions provide an in-depth exploration of an artists’ practice, and present new and unique findings to a wider audience, inserting it in new contexts globally. While working with a single artist in the context of a solo exhibition or a written, published text and essay, this research output also continues Carr’s research into the discipline of curating - inspiring innovation and invigorating the practice through novel, creative and unique means. This ongoing research has been covered by notable internationally press and publications ArtViewer, Mousse Magazine (online), Artribune (September 2014) and Los Angeles Times (September 2014), and directly experienced by over 400,000 people internationally.
