- I co-led the proposal and the consortium that observed SN 1987A with ALMA, together with Indebetow and McCray, and I led the dust- and molecular-related science case in the proposal. The paper presents two major scientific results, relating to synchrotron radiation and dust production. I did the calculations for Figure 3, presenting the SEDs of the central ejecta and the torus, and contributed to writing of the scientific content relating to dust in Sections 4 and 5 of the paper.
