- A contribution to the most comprehensive anthology to examine the 1940s Bucharest Surrealism. In French like much recent scholarship on Surrealism, the book has been reviewed in French research journals. As a specialist in the history, theory and practice of international surrealism, Fijalkowski has brought to new audiences the work of poet and artist Gherasim Luca. As a consequence of this and other related outputs by Fijalkowski, there has been significant recent interest in Luca outside his native Romania, for example, the monographic exhibition at the Centre Georges Pompidou (winter 2018/19), to whose programme of public events Fijalkowski contributed.
