- This edited collection grew out of the work on the international exhibition ‘Funware’ curated by Goriunova at Arnolfini (Bristol) and MU and Baltan (Eindhoven, the Netherlands). As a part of these projects, she organised a conference ‘Funware’ at Baltan laboratories (together with STRP festival), Eindhoven, where most of the contributors to the edited book first presented their essays. Goriunova commissioned and edited all the essays, wrote the introduction (pp. 1-21) and contributed her own essay “Material Imagination: on the Avant-gardes, Time and Computation” (pp. 253-275) to the volume.
