- This novel technique for tolerant control of dynamic systems subjected to unknown time-varying sensor delays, which provides a new way to handle delays in control system engineering, has been recognised in invited talks at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany, 2015), University of Kaiserslautern (2015), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2018) and Tianjin University (2018). The work motivated research applications on autonomous underwater vehicle and nonlinear power network under time delay switch (TDS) attacks, highlighted by Zhong et al. respectively in ISA Transactions (vol.78, pp.31-38, 2018) and Journal of The Franklin Institute (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jfranklin.2018.12.012, 2019).
