- King was jointly responsible with two co-editors for conceiving, curating and editing this substantial volume (pp. xx + 299) which showcases international research on English language teachers' psychological wellbeing. The book contains sixteen chapters and draws on contributions from 29 scholars based in nine different countries around the world. King co-authored (33% contribution) the introductory chapter (5136 words), co-authored (40%) a chapter on emotion regulation use amongst instructors teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at Japanese universities (7840 words) and co-authored (33%) the concluding chapter (3183 words). Acknowledging the affective dimension of teaching which shapes educators' professional practice and wellbeing, the book covers a range of emotion-related topics including teacher anxiety, emotional labour, burnout, emotional intelligence and resilience amongst others.
