- Double-weighted statement
- The book was informed by an ESRC research project which was conducted over a three-year period between 2012-2014. The findings emerged from a mixed-method approach collecting primary data at a national level but the findings are presented to have international significance. The book consists of 250 pages of original research presented in seven chapters generating research that is the first of its kind exploring the impact of domestic violence and abuse in same-sex relationships. It is argued that because of the extent of research presented in this publication the REF panel should accept this as a double waited output.
