- Published in IEEE-TWC, a highly prestigious journal, this highly-cited work developed a novel solution to the challenging problem of reducing both energy consumption and latency of wireless networks; contradictory requirements, but essential for performance in future systems. The provided method is significant for its problem solving mathematical framework of large deviation theorem. The results were presented in an invited talk (NextGwin2018), as part of Commnet2 events, at Technical-University-of-Dresden (2017), and at Nanyang University of Technology, Singapore(2017) sponsored by IEEE Communication Society activities in Asia/Pacific Region. The work contributed to a successful EPSRC grant (EP/N032268/1) and has since been further developed.
