- This 70,000-word book is the main output of a two-year research project that ran between 2016-2018, with the extensive and unique qualitative and quantitative data collected written up between 2017-2020. It is the product of a multi-stage iterative data gathering process employing an original ‘Party Survey’ compiled, fielded and analysed by the author. Findings from this survey were used to inform further data collection via three deliberative workshops, recruited and designed by the author. These workshops were transcribed in full by the author (60+ hours of audio) and analysed. A further survey was designed and fielded in 2019.
