- Music criticism and music critics in early Francoist Spain (192 pages) analyses the musical press in early Francoist Spain, using the often-ignored political and ideological dimensions of some critical primary sources while also looking at other lesser-known publications for the first time. The book uses detailed analysis of the press to discuss how it can challenge the understanding of key themes in the music of this period, such as modernism, musical heritage and traditional music.
