- This paper introduces a novel method to address the challenging problem of evaluating established tentative point matches (TPMs), capable of dealing with TPMs involving up to 95% outliers, in sharp contrast with the widely used RANSAC method. This is a key delivery of a multi-national project, involving partners from UK, Italy, China and Canada. Published in IEEE-TVCG, a top outlet in the subject, and led to further developments by researchers from internationally recognised groups (including those in: Swinburne University of Technology, USA; Harbin Institute of Technology, China; and University of Alberta, Canada).
