- This research attracted further funding to extend the methodology and application. MedImmune UK funded one PhD student (contact R&D Director, Biopharmaceutical Development at AZ, RG74807). BBSRC BioProNET funded its application to biocatalyst production in a collaborative project with Johnson Matthey (BIV_Jan 2018_Dikicioglu, BBSRC, (contact Team Leader - Bioprocessing @JM, RG94122). The project led to major findings directly relevant to practice in the R&D unit at JM and led JM to contribute towards the research expenses of an additional PhD student (40K over 4 years). Dr Dikicioglu was subsequently appointed to an Associate Professor position at University College London.
