- Poetry and Performance During the British Poetry Revival 1960-1980 is a major study of performances during a key period in British poetry. The culmination of nine years of research, the 90,000-word monograph features the first substantial scholarly studies of significant performance events from the 1960s and the 1970s. The extensive archival research for the book involved regular visits to the British Library’s Sound Archive, the archives at King’s College London, and the Special Collections at the University of Kent. The book also features new interviews with the poets Denise Riley and Allen Fisher.
