- Additional information
- This output describes a novel methodology for preparing 2D material membranes for the desalination of water. The methodology developed has subsequently been utilized extensively in the literature for the removal of water contaminants under various conditions e.g. DOIs: 10.1021/acs.langmuir.0c03068, 10.1007/s10853-020-05746-5, 10.1016/j.chemphys.2019.110609, 10.1016/j.carbon.2019.09.030, 10.1088/2053-1583/ab5ad9). The output has led to a patent application US16085098 and a UMI3 funded Research Associate (https://www.jobs.manchester.ac.uk/displayjob.aspx?jobid=18285) working on the scale up of this process.
