- In turbulent plasmas, magnetic reconnection has long been suggested to have a major role in the dissipation of turbulent energy at small scales. This letter reports the discovery of reconnection operating on small scales in the turbulent plasma of the Earth’s magnetosheath. I contributed to the interpretation and analysis of the data and manuscript preparation.
