- The wide applications of the IoT in recent years lead to a challenging consensus problem of multi-agent control systems via network communication. The design and practical implementation techniques of solving the external consensus problem for inhomogeneous networked multi-agent systems have been developed using a new prediction method presented with consensus criteria in a transfer function form, which is a significant breakthrough in networked control applications. The validated novel outcome through a test-rig application has led to G.P.Liu’s project on Hybrid Modelling and Multi-objective Optimal Design of Advanced Electric Motors, funded by European Social Fund and Cogent Power Ltd.
