- 'This co-authored book is a longer-form output of 130,000 words. The research took three years to complete (2015-18), and was highly complex, since the analysis of the genesis of Samuel Beckett's play Fin de partie/Endgame required the locating, securing, and close analysis of all the surviving manuscripts of both the French and English versions of the play, held in archives in France, Ireland, the UK, and the USA. The research also entailed the full transcription of all the manuscripts, these transcriptions now being available on the Samuel Beckett Digital Manuscript Project archive at www.beckettarchive.org.'
