- Album Verses and Romantic Literary Culture is a monograph of 117,000 words (304 pages) based on extensive research in manuscript, print, and digital archives conducted over a decade. The first full-length scholarly study of album culture, the book presents a richly documented account of the British experience of an overlooked European cultural and literary phenomenon across more than seven decades (1780-1850). The six substantial chapters analyse many primary sources unknown to scholarship and created in diverse social contexts (public institutions, aristocratic country houses, literary circles, non-literary circles).
