- A single-authored monograph of 200 pgs published in a well-known and highly regarded outlet for politics/political sociology. The subtitle notwithstanding, it is more than an introductory text, containing an original argument on political theology. In exploring the implications of political theology for political theory it broaches new ground and addresses some of the limitations in the literature on political theory. It is a major piece of scholarship, taking over a year to research and write, synthesising a wide range of literatures and perspectives, developing an innovative approach to the topic. It addresses a number of major problems in contemporary politics.
