- This is the first paper that quantifies the potential of the nonlinear Fourier transform in increase capacity of optical communication systems. Highlighted in the EPSRC UNLOC press release. Paper has attracted substantial interest in the telecommunication and information theory communities and led to seven invited talks and the leading conferences and workshops in the field. The paper led to new international collaboration with Technical University Eindhoven (Prof. A. Alvarado) and funding awards (Israel Science Foundation grant No. 466/18) and H2020 ITN European Industrial Doctorate project MENTOR.
