- Wright was the PI of the Ptolemy instrument on the Philae lander component of ESA’s Rosetta mission to comet 67P. Wright led a team of scientists and engineers in designing and building the instrument. Wright was one of the three PIs that collaborated to interpret the complementary volatiles data collected by ROSINA (PI: Altwegg) from the comet’s coma and COSAC (PI: Goesmann) and Ptolemy from the comet’s surface and subsurface. He wrote part of the paper and edited the whole manuscript.
