- Double-weighted statement
- This book represents the better part of a decades research. It has gone from its initial inception as a PhD thesis on Seleukid coinage to further research and developments during the course of my subsequent academic career. This book seeks not only to reassess and challenge some longstanding assumptions on Greek imperial rule in the near east in the light of a re-evaluation of Seleukid coinage to offer a new approach to the development and propagation of royal ideologies.
