- This 32,000 word journal special issue, submitted in its entirety, is based on an Arts Council England-funded collaboration between Brockington and Impermanence Dance Theatre, consisting of a 50-minute dance film based on historical research, supported by an archival exhibition. Brockington initiated the collaboration, led the design and research, and was the film’s Executive Producer. Brockington is lead author and curator of the journal’s 3 sections. 1: the exhibition (25,000 words), researched and written by Brockington, with annotated map contributed by Tobin; 2. the film directed by Impermanence Dance Theatre; and documentation, compiled by Margolin and the British Art Studies editors.
