- Additional information
- The paper introduces CoSMed, a social media platform with information flow guarantees, proved formally using the proof assistant Isabelle/HOL. The kernel of CoSMed is first formally verified in the framework of Bounded-Deducibility Security, and the automatically translated to executable Scala code for a web service. This paper is significant because it shows how confidentiality, at a specified granularity, can be formally guaranteed. The practical results of this paper have been implemented in software deployed as part of a subsequent Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Middlesex University and Caritas Anchor House (KTP10041).
