- The original techniques presented in this research article offers fast and efficient line of sight urban visibility modelling based on elevation models. This work is significant for applications on mobile devices with limited battery capacity, as well as having application in time critical environments (e.g. autonomous vehicles). The article was published in the top Geographic Information Science journal, and was an output from the research undertaken in the €3.6M EU-FP7 Spacebook Project (EU FP7.270019). I was lead author on the paper, did all of the software development, and produced all of the figures.
