- Double-weighted statement
- Deification in Russian Religious Thought is a major contribution to Russian intellectual history which establishes the full significance of the theme of deification for both modern Russian intellectual culture and Russian modernism more broadly for the first time. It synthesises philosophy, theology, literature, cultural and religious studies to present a history of the modern Russian reception of a patristic theme in combination with close readings of four complex works by major writers of late imperial Russia. Its originality, inter-disciplinary nature, historical reach, and analytical complexity qualify it for consideration for double-weighting.
