- The paper is a research outcome of the European FP7 project iCOMPOSE. The research was carried out in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team including car makers such as Jaguar Land Rover and Skoda Auto, suppliers of automotive components such as Infineon and Hutchinson, and academic / research institutions, such as Fraunhofer and ViF. The robustness, simplicity and computational efficiency of the proposed variable structure control formulation have facilitated its further evaluation in follow-up projects in collaboration with Roborace.
