- This work represents a substantial enhancement on the previous work of the author (Patent:EP3005249B1, US10469094B2) enabling a significant step in the accuracy enhancement and resolution of a non-linear Tent Map based Analogue to Digital converters (ADCs). Work by others in this field previously discounted the commercial viability of such architectures due to the inability to define an absolute initial condition from the symbolic outputs. Through significant international collaboration, a compensation algorithm to determine the true performance for a non-ideal implementation was demonstrated, enabling an ADC architecture to be realised.
