- This paper extends his previous research and also extends the research work from the EU FP7 Project MONICA, which was led by him. The paper studied joint resource allocation and coordinated computation offloading in fog radio access networks. It addressed the following constraints: maximum transmission delay tolerance, minimum energy consumption, fronthaul and backhaul capacity limits. The paper proposed a solution to optimize computational resource allocation for multiple user equipment. This work was one of the pioneer works in this area. The research result led to another research project (UK EPSRC Project NIRVANA under grant EP/L026031/1).
