- This represents a significant advancement from previous work funded by EPSRC-EP/M013529/1. A new and powerful method of synthesising highly-complex multi-channel microwave multiplexers has been developed in collaboration with an expert in the field of artificial intelligence (B. Liu, Glasgow University). Comparison with existing methods has demonstrated clear advantage in its effectiveness and robustness. Convergence of an optimal large-dimension coupling matrix is assured in most cases which was not possible previously. This makes the technique highly attractive for commercial exploitation. Wang was invited as a guest speaker on this topic in 2019 Huawei RF Technology Workshop in Sweden.
