- A preliminary version of this paper, with the same title, appeared in the proceedings of the 10th International Conference on Web and Internet Economics (WINE) in 2014. This was the first positive result for computing Nash equilibria in arbitrary polymatrix games. It remains the state of the art for computing approximate Nash equilibria in polymatrix games in polynomial time.
