- This paper presents the FORGE toolkit, which leverages EU research facilities for online learning. The OU contribution, PT Anywhere, transforms Cisco’s desktop application Packet Tracer into an online teaching tool. Cisco are planning to integrate the tool into their Packet Tracer platform to be used by their > 1 million learners worldwide. PT Anywhere is featured in the UK government’s Digital Skills Toolkit, which offers essential digital skills to job seekers and furloughed workers. Additionally, this work has led to the award of the grant Open Networking Lab (http://onl.kmi.open.ac.uk), funded by the Ufi VocTech Trust.
