- At 194 pages, this single authored book exceeds the length of a standard journal article. The book constitutes an engaged and in-depth look at the Occupy movement in Ireland and the San Francisco Bay area of the US. It draws upon participatory ethnographic research conducted over a number of years, in order to present substantial evidence of the changing nature of popular democratic demands and the potential transformation of global politics. An insider's perspective is taken in order to analyse the internal processes and iterations of the Occupy movement and the implications of these processes for the future of democracy.
