- This paper is one of the key outputs associated with the Nottingham “Dinosaurs of China – Ground Shakers and Feathered Flyers” exhibition, 2017, which generated positive social impacts. The paper delivers a critical rethinking on an important but rarely explored field – Application of Paleoart in museum – from an interdisciplinary point of view between art, museum study and architecture. The opinions revealed in the paper have impacted the Nottingham Natural History Museum’s Transformation Project 2019-2023, in which Paleoart is considered as both museum legacy from 2017 Dinosaurs of China Exhibition and future exhibition design element.
