- This is a joint work with Yubico---global market leader in authenticators (YubiKeys) and co-editor of W3C WebAuthn standard. In addition to appearing in A* conference CCS these results were later presented at the industry-focused event Real World Cryptography to over 400 attendees. Yubico has published a blog article explaining the design to a wider community, in which they credit our collaboration. The proposed protocol for backing up WebAuthn credentials has been implemented by Yubico and submitted for standardization to W3C. It also received media attention, with endorsement quotes from W3C WebAuth working group chairs.
