- The paper describes a new methodology to simulate unilateral contact in multiphase solids. Dissemination (e.g https://www.ucl.ac.uk/maths/events/2019/jan/computational-methods-interface-problems-workshop) initiated a two week research visit to University of Copenhagen, resulting in a collaboration on medical imaging and analysis and a successful H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions Individual fellowships (Claus). The presented CutFEM methodology is currently being implemented in commercial software (Zset http://www.zset-software.com/) by Kerfriden (CU and Mines ParisTech) and Claus (at French institute for Aeronautics (Onera)), this large-scale redesign is being undertaken in close partnership with SafranTech.
