- This paper has impacted on the state of the art in the field of digitalization transformation with substantial industrial impact allowing a diverse range of stakeholders to arrive at early design consensus for a complex product. This led to LU being awarded i) Airbus Framework University status and two awards approved at Airbus Senior Board level for Kalawsky: ii) Airbus Research Chair, and separately, iii) award of highly prestigious of RAEng/Airbus Research Chair in Digital and Data Engineering Information Systems. This has resulted in funding from Airbus Commercial and Airbus Helicopters to support commercially sensitive/strategic research projects.
